Water in fuel system for MS Maasdam (Holland America Line)

Last week the FID Injectors on board of the HAL Maasdam were commissioned. On board there are special customized FID Injectors and a FID improver installed. The FID Injectors are customized in coorperation with the Holland America Line. With the special system Coriolis Mass Flow meters and water in fuel meters are installed. With the Coriolis meters the system can operate even more precisly and the water in fuel meter will additional verify the water content. The additional equipment will also be used for the vessel to monitor the daily consumption of fuel.
