The FID Injectors on board of the MS Volendam are up and running

Last week our engineers have commissioned the FID Injectors on board of MS Volendam.
The vessel was sailing between Singapore and Bangkok during the commissioning trip.

The MS Volendam is R-Class vessel with Wartsila Sulzer engines on board.
The vessel is normally sailing in Asian and Alaskan waters.

IPCO Power’s FID Injector is a combustion improvement system designed to create a stable “water in fuel” emulsion. The implementation of emulsified fuel significantly enhances fuel atomization and distribution in the combustion chamber. 
This results in more effective combustion, lower fuel consumption (1,25% fuel saving) and a reduction of NOx, HC and PM pollutants, while the engine’s combustion chambers, pistons, exhaust system and lube oil will stay much cleaner.
